The Passing of Max Kovel

The sudden loss of Max’s life was a shock to us all, Max was such an integral part of our class activities for 67 years starting with his tutoring of so many classmates and continuing through his contributions to keeping us in touch with each other while serving as class scribe, as a class board member, and in putting together our 50 year book. We along with his family, mourn his passing. We extend our condolences to Bernice and their children, Jacob, Rachel, Sarah, Ruth, and Rebecca.

As you are aware, Max’s burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at 1100, Wednesday, 11 March. Attendees are asked to be at the Cemetery Administrative Building at 1015, The burial will be followed by a reception to be held immediately after at Ft Myer with details to be announced.

For your information, Bernice has moved from their home in Fairfax County to a local memory care facility. More information to follow.
