Henry J. Hatch


Distinguished Graduate

of the

United States Military Academy

LTG (R) Henry J. Hatch ’57 commanded Engineer units at every level; was a member of the faculty at West Point in the Department of Earth, Space, and Graphic Sciences; and held a staff assignment in the Office of the Chief of Staff of the Army. His highest positions include command of the Pacific Ocean Division of the Corps of Engineers, Assistant Chief of Engineers, and Commanding General, US Army Corps of Engineers. After retiring, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the American Society of Civil Engineers and has served as a WPAOG Trustee, Class Trustee, and Advisor at Large.
